Re-sub Exams

1. Re-sub exams are developed to enable students to have the opportunity to provide further evidence that they are competent in a subject. A charge is made for all re-sub exams to recover the additional resource time and cost utilised in the re-sub process.

2. A student must apply to the Directors to submit a re-sub exam on the “Application for Re-Sub” form.

3. A re-sub exam will be granted at the discretion of the Directors and on the basis that the student:-

    3.1. Averaged equal to or better than a 50% mark in the pre and final exam results

    3.2 Commits to “in class” study equivalent to 10% of the listed study time, prior to the exam

    3.3 Commits to “out of class” study equivalent to 10% of the listed study time, prior to the exam

4. A student is entitled to apply to the Directors to sit a re-sub exam for a charge of $20, provided they are within course completion dates.

5. Where a Student is outside of course completion dates, “Course Dates, Extensions and Charges Policy” will apply.

6. Re-Sub exam marks will be calculated on the basis of the average between the final exam mark and the re-sub exam mark and normal pass rates of 75% and 80% for text processing, bookkeeping and MYOB will apply.
