MS-Outlook 2007 Level 2 COURSE INTRODUCTION:- In the Microsoft Outlook – Level 2 course, students will learn how to use some of the advanced features of Outlook. Students will learn advanced mail options; working with folders, distribution lists, templates, and learn to create rules for mail. They will also learn to use advanced calendar, contacts, tasks and notes options. |

Students will learn how to work with Outlook with no network connection (work remotely), create and use forms in Outlook. Moreover, students will learn to create and use personal distribution or group list, create and use mail templates, add a vCard to a message, use the Rules Wizard and the Out of Office Assistant, work with public and net folders, use the Auto Archive feature, create and update recurring tasks, plan a meeting with co-workers, integrate calendar items with other items, record remotely and offline, create custom forms, customize Outlook settings and send faxes. At the end of each lesson, there are Questions and a Practice Exercise to reinforce the concepts you learned in that lesson. There is also a lab and an exam preparation exercise to extend and test student’s knowledge. OF INTEREST TO: Those who want to use Microsoft Outlook XP, or to use an electronic mail and/or personal information manager program. This course will also be of special interest to individuals or workgroups interested in increasing productivity. COURSE AIMS: To provide an understanding of Outlook that goes beyond the basics. PREREQUISITES:- It is advised that students first complete the Introduction to Windows course and the Microsoft Outlook XP or 2007 – Level 1 course. COURSE CONTENT: Lesson 1: Lesson 2: Lesson 3: Lesson 4: Lesson 5: Lab Exercise COURSE NOTES: A course manual is provided as an ongoing reference. A certificate is issued upon the student’s completion of the course and on attaining a pass mark of 75% or higher for the final assessment.
