Enrolment Policy 1. Student enrolment is not something to be taken lightly. The Student has represented certain facts and intentions in order to source funding for education and that funding has been directed to Academy in payment for reserving with guarantee (the acceptance) and a placement at the Academy College where the training will be delivered (the offer). 2. The Student has a clear commercial obligation to the provider of the funds to ensure that study, (for which the money has been obtained) is undertaken by the Student. 3. The Academy has an obligation to ensure that the funds paid to Academy represent full payment of all fees to secure a place at the college for a fixed period of time for the purpose of undertaking training and to ensure that the training is provided on time and to specification in accordance with the enrolment and the fees paid. 4. The Academy also has an obligation to report to any organisation, entity or individual/s providing funding for training, if the Student does not attend that training as agreed to with Academy. 5. The Academy must ensure procedure is followed to preserve probity and ethics in that transaction. The money must be spent on the purpose for which it was intended and Academy must not be party by association or implication to any misrepresentation, misuse or fraud committed by the Student irrespective of the source of funding. 6. Enrolment of a Student into the Academy College must only occur once the Student has made a formal application and that application has been approved. 7. Approval of any application for enrolment must comply with the process in the Academy Operations Manual. 8. The College Manager and the Senior Facilitator of the site where the Student will be enrolled must be satisfied that the:- 8.1. Student is academically capable of successfully completing the qualification. 8.2. Student is aware of Academy policies and procedures affecting Students and that the Student is committed to study under the terms and conditions of Academy. 9. The College must have the resources required by its Operations manual to ensure that the College is conducive to study and that the Student will have the resources required to successfully complete the qualification. 10. The College Manager and the Senior Facilitator of the site where the Student will be enrolled must be committed to monitoring the Student’s progress and responding according to Policies and Procedures to ensure all steps are taken to facilitate a successful outcome.
