Business Correspondence Level 1 COURSE INTRODUCTION: This course places
emphasis on the acquisition of skills or style mechanics needed to produce
personal and small office correspondence. The parts of a business
letter are examined in detail as well as the guidelines for organizing and
writing a letter. Students will learn how
to write inquiry letters, neutral letters, and negative letters. Proper
punctuation and proofreading skills are also addressed. The latter part of the
course deals with report styles, organizing report information, and the use of
footnotes and bibliographies, OF INTEREST TO: Those who use correspondence in their business or personal affairs. COURSE AIM:-To expand and upgrade business correspondence skills. COURSE CONTENT: Lesson 1: Lesson 2: Lesson 3: Lesson 4: Lesson 5: Lesson 6: COURSE NOTES:- Course material is provided as an ongoing reference. A certificate is issued upon the student’s completion of the course and on attaining a pass mark of 75% or higher for the final assessment. PREREQUISITES None
